This is a charming little gem. Relaxed, and chill atmosphere, no electricity or running water, but don't let that scare you. The bathhouse was amazing. I want to build one in the backyard back home.
Stayed here while floating down the Yukon river. This is an excellent campground, with some cabins. Dont expect a 5 star hotel. If you want a warm shower, you will have to light a fire in the bathing room and wash yourself with river water. The proprietor is a very nice man with excellent tips about Dawson, canoeing and Alaska. Would definitely recommend going here.
A very beautiful place. But no stove or heater in the cabine and if you want to have a shower or to use the sauna who have to work hard for it. You need to cut bad quality wood(with a lot of nails) and start a fire to warm the water...So I think it's overpriced.But once again beautiful spot whit nice view.
Most beautiful place for every traveller who loves nature and living with it - no electricity here, no hot water but you can make it your own in Bath house and take shower by mixing it with cold one - just awsome. Love this place - Thank you
Rented a cabin overnight since all the hotels in Dawson were booked. The cabins are very bare-bones, just four walls and a roof, no lights, no power, no heat, no water, though there is drinking water available in the campsite. The mattresses aren't thick, but they are still much more comfortable than sleeping in a van or a tent. The campsite was nice and quiet, though I expect people in tents were hearing the ferry all night. You can buy some food and drinks at the main office.
